Bono told to hit the gym to reduce weight

New York, Aug 18 : 'U2' vocalist Bono has been told that he needs to hit the gym after his summer of fun is over.

Bono has been entertaining pals like Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Queen Rania of Jordan on his yacht in Eze, France

"U2 has an album coming out around January," the New York Post quoted a music-industry insider as saying.

"And then the band is going on another world tour in March and April - so the boys have been told to start exercising all the summer weight off," the insider added.

Representatives for the rock group were not available for comment.
