12 killed in bus-truck collision near Jaipur
Jaipur, Aug 18 (UNI) Twelve people, including two women, were killed and over 17 injured in a collision between a Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation(RSRTC) bus and a truck near Jobner about 60 km from here today.
According to the police, the ill-fated bus was on its way to Chomu via Data Ramgarh, when it rammed into the truck coming from the opposite direction at the Jobner-Renwal roundabout this morning.
While eight people died on the spot or on the way to Jobner Hospital, four others succumbed later, the police said.
Eleven of the injured were being treated at SMS Hospital here, whereas half a dozen were hospitalised in Jobner and Renwal, the police sources added.
