Rashtriya Rifles Soldier commits suicide
Srinagar, Aug 17: A soldier committed suicide in south Kashmir on Saturday, Aug 16 official sources said. They said, Palwinder Singh, a gunman of 49 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) shot himself dead in Sector headquarter camp at Ujroo in Dooru area of south Kashmir.
The reason for taking such extreme step was not immediately known.
Despite, introduction of Yoga and art of living, the security forces continue to end their lives.
More than two dozen security forces, including Army personnel have committed suicide in Jammu and Kashmir, during the past two years. An equal number were also killed by their colleagues.
Family dispute and work stress are being considered major reasons for taking the extreme steps by the security forces.
