UP Police sezied fake Indian notes
{image-fake currenc_17082008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Siddharthnagar, Aug 17: Police on Sunday, Aug 17 said they have sezied counterfeit currency worth Rs 10,000 and arrested a person in connection with the crime from Mehdaval colony in Sant Kabirnagar district.
On a tip off, sleuths raided a house at village Fardaha and made the seizure, police said. Shekhawat Ali was nailed down from the spot, while his accomplices fled the scene. Meanwhile, sources said the arrested had links with the State Bank of India (SBI) Dumariyaganj chest fake currency racket in Siddharthnagar, where over Rs 1.5 crore notes were detected fake.
