Wood's wife plans US move to get over marriage heartache

London, Aug 16 : After failing to win her husband Ronnie Wood back, Jo has decided to leave for America to escape the heartache.

Last month, it was revealed that Ronnie Wood was staying with his Russian teenage lover Ekaterina Ivanova at his Irish retreat.

The singer had been admitted into a clinic to sober up and Jo and the family had hoped that once he was sober, he would come to his senses over the affair.

But it does not seem so, as the Rolling Stones member is still lovesick after a few weeks battling against his demons in a Surrey clinic. Jo had been hoping that they will reunite, but she has now given up and is leaving to work in the US, where she will promote her artist brother Paul Karslake's work.

"Ronnie is making good progress in his battle with booze," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

"His family hoped his fling with Eka happened because he fell off the wagon.

"Sadly for them he has genuinely fallen head over heels for her.

"He's like a lovesick puppy and can't shake off his teenage-like infatuation. Jo's moving to the US to piece her life back together.

"Being away from memories of Ron will do her good," the source added.
