Veteran film cameraman, writer passes away
Kolhapur, Aug 16 (UNI) Veteran Marathi film cameraman, writer and dramatist I Bargeer passed away at his residence here due to old age.
He died yesterday and was unwell for last few years due to paralysis, his family sources said today.
Bargeer started his film career as a trainee laboratory man in Jaiprabha studio here. Then he went to Mumbai, where he worked in film lab for some time. His first film as cameraman was 'Jaimalhar'.
Then he worked as cameraman for many renowned film directors such as Dinkar D Patil and Anant Mane among others.
He also wrote a script to few films and dramas like 'Darubandichya Navana Changbhala'.
He was also vice-president of the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapati Mahamandal.
