Two women buried alive in UP

Ballia, Aug 16 (UNI) Two women were buried alive after the wall of a house caved in at Nevali Kanatpur village in Pakdi area here today.

The incident occurred in the wee hours, when the women were fast asleep at home, police said.

Both died on the spot.

Meanwhile, the district administration has announced ex-gratia of Rs one lakh each to the bereaved family.
