Three members of family buried alive in UP

Fatehpur, Aug 16 (UNI) At least three members of a family, including a minor and an elderly woman were buried alive after their house collapsed following the heavy downpour here today.

The incident occurred in Hussainganj area at Mansoorpur village, where Veer Singh (42), his mother Shiv Dulari (70) and son Abhishek (8) were buried in the debris of their house, police superintendent K S Pipal said.

The family was having their afternoon meal, when the house shattered.

Bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
