Student dies mysteriously

Indore, Aug 15 (UNI) A 11th-standard student of a local school died in suspicious circumstances.

The K V Patel Gujarati Kanya Vidyalaya's Sadia Afrid's incensed kin later staged a protest at the Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital where the girl had been taken yesterday. The relatives demanded a probe.

''My daughter was in good health when she left for school this morning. In the afternoon, a telephone call from the school said that she was injured and a little later I was asked to reach the hospital. I found her dead there. She died even before reaching the hospital,'' alleged victims Abdul Jabbar father.

The school management told Mr Jabbar that Sadia fell from a bench.

''An inquiry is underway,'' said City Superintendent of Police M L Narwaria.
