Rs 36 lakh embezzlement in UBI

Udaipur, Aug 15 (UNI) A case of embezzlement of around Rs 36 lakh has been lodged against the cashier of the Union Bank of India branch here, police sources said.

Bank's Chief Manager S C Garg has lodged the FIR at Amba Mata police station against the bank's New Fatehpura branch Cashier Bharat Lodha yesterday, the sources said.

Deputy General Manager Ashok Jain has also rushed to Udaipur.

The authorities were carrying a thorough scrutiny of the bank accounts.
