PM greets people on Raksha Bandhan

New Delhi, Aug 15: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Friday, Aug 15 greeted the countrymen on Raksha Bandhan, which will be celebrated across the country on Saturday, Aug 16.

In a written message, the Prime Minister remarked the festival as an occasion to uphold traditional values of Indian culture and also as a time to recognize and celebrate the role of woman in family. "May this festival bring to all health, happiness, camaraderie and prosperity", said Dr Singh in the message.
