KTJ conducts blood donation camp

Bangalore, Aug 15 (UNI) The Karnataka Tauheed Jamaath (KTJ), a social service organisation, today collected over 150 bottles of blood after holding a blood-donation camp on the occasion of the 62nd Independence day celebration of the nation.

Speaking to UNI here, S A Sulaiman, President, KTJ, said the donated blood was handed over to Dr Rajkumar Blood Bank and Ghosha Hospital in the city.

City Legislators, including Congress leader R Roshan Baig, also participated during the event, he added.
