Car fest at Shengazhineer Amman Temple
Puducherry,Aug 15: Thousands of devotees from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu on Friday, Aug 15 thronged the Shengazhineer Amman Temple at Veerampatinam, near here, to worship the deity on the occasion of the annual car festival on Friday, Aug 15.
Puducherry Lt Governor Govind Singh Gurjar pulled the rope to inaugurate the festival.
Chief Minister N Rangasamy,PMK Parliamentary Party Leader M Ramadass and Mr Anantharaman, MLA, were among those who took part.
