Sripathi appointed Special CS of TN
Chennai, Aug 14 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today appointed Senior IAS officer K S Sripathi as the Special Chief Secretary (SCS) of the State, a newly created post, for a period of three months.
An official release here said the post of SCS would be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the post of Chief Secretary.
While continuing to function as the Vigilance Commissioner and Commissioner of Administrative Reforms, Mr Sripathi, in his capactiy as the SCS, would attend all meetings and discussions along with Chief Secretary L K Tripathy, who is scheduled to retire this month.
The release said all files submitted and circulated through the Chief Secretary would now be routed through the SCS.
