Speaker to boycott CLP meeting

Puducherry, Aug 14 (UNI) Puducherry Speaker R Radhakrishnan is likely to boycott the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting slated to be held here on August 18.

According to highly reliable sources, Mr Radhakrishnan, who received the invitation from PCC(I) President A V Subramanian to attened the meeting, informed the latter over phone of his inability to do so.

The CLP is being held to find an amicable settlement to the prevailing uncertain political situation here.
