{image-pak independence day_14082008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Islamabad, Aug 14 : In a goodwill gesture, the Pakistan Government has decided to release 35 Indian nationals on the occasion of India's 62nd Independence Day on Thursday, Aug 14. This is despite India declining Islamabad's request to reciprocate the gesture. The Indian nationals include 34 fishermen and a civilian. They were apprehended by the Maritime Security Agency for violation of Pakistan's Exclusive Economic Zone while poaching in Pakistani waters, said a press release issued by the Interior Ministry, reported sources.

All Indian nationals would be handed over to the Indian authorities at the Wagah check-post, the paper quoted Pakistan government sources as saying.
