Nilambur Ayesha wins 'Sadanandan Puraskaram'

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 14(UNI) Noted theatre personality Nilambur Ayesha has been selected for the 'S L Puram Sadanandan Nataka Puraskaram-2008' award in recognition to her comprehensive contribution to theatre.

A five-member-committee with A R Gopakumar as its chairman selected Ayesha for the award, which carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh and a citation, cultural minister M A Baby told reporters here.

The award will be presented to her here at a later date, he added.
