Britney in talks to star in a top-secret new movie

Washington, Aug 14 : Britney Spears is currently in talks to star in a top-secret new movie.

The fallen pop princess is currently getting her life and career back on track after a tough year dominated by personal problems.

She has a new album set for release in late 2008/early 2009, and she reveals scripts are dropping through her mailbox - after two acclaimed stints acting in sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother'.

"I'd love to, if we can find the right movie. Actually, I have a part that just came up. We're just trying to work it out with my schedule, with the children," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling OK! Magazine.

The star will hope her next big screen outing fares better than her last film - 2002 movie 'Crossroads' made a box office profit but was slated by critics.
