BJP Govt failed to tackle flood situation: Dharam Singh
Gulbarga, Karnataka, Aug 14 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh today alleged that the BJP Government failed to tackle the flood situation in the state.
Addressing the press here, he said Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had neither visited the flood-affected areas nor apprised the Prime Minister on the situation which had already claimed nine lives besides causing damage to more than 1000 houses and leaving over 50 villages marooned.
Mr Singh said the Chief Minister should request the Prime Minister to send a Central team and seek financial assistance.
