4 nabbed with 600 Kg contraband

Jaipur, Aug 14 (UNI) Four drug traffickers were today nabbed in Gangrar region of Chittorgarh alongwith 600 Kg of dried opium poppy powder, official sources said.

The contraband being transported in a truck was seized during Narcotics Department personnel's special checking near Mishron Ki Pipali village in the Gangrar region this afternoon.

Four persons had been arrested in this connection. However, the driver of the truck succeeded in giving a slip.

The driver while fleeing also fired at the police and raiding party, the sources added.
