Youth dies due to lack of treatment during agitation

Lucknow, Aug 13: A youth fell prey to the two-hour-long ''Chakka Jam'' called by the BJP and the VHP in Vijay Nagar area of industrial city Kanpur on WAccording to police, 22-year-old Santosh had suffered burns after coming in contact with a live wire.

The people, who were taking him to hospital, got stuck in the two-hour-long 'Chakka Jam' and he succumbed on the way.

BJP and VHP workers had called the protest against the withdrawal of proposed land to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) from 9 am to 11 pm in Lucknow and Kanpur.
