Two workers killed in bomb factory explosion
Dehra Dun, Aug 13 (UNI) Two workers were killed following an explosion in an ordnance factory in Raipur area of this city here today.
According to Raipur police, two workers of a bomb factory situated in Ladpur area of Raipur were killed when a mechanical fire triggered an explosion at 1030 hrs this morning.
As news of the blast spread, angry workers and locals gathered at the factory demanding that those responsible for the casualties be arrested.
Senior police officials and the fire brigade had reached the spot.
The factory had been in the eye of the storm earlier and orders to have it sealed were issued when a similar incident in 2007 left five workes dead.
