Planning Commission tenure extended to Oct 31

Mumbai, Aug 13: The Maharashtra Government has decided to extend the tenure of State Planning Commission and its Executive Chairman to October 31, 2008.

A notification in this regard was published on July 30, 2008. The Government had reconstituted on November 16, 2006 and its tenure was for two years.
