Over 15 hurt as building caves-in
Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) More than 15 people, including women and children, were injured when a building collapsed at Kubharwada in Bhendi Bazar of southcentral Mumbai this morning.
The disaster control board of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said here that at around 0600 hours, a portion of Dutta Nivas at Kumbharwada collapsed, in which over 15 people were injured.
Fire brigade sources said they suspected more people to be still trapped in debris. Around 14 families were residing in the 70-year-old building, they informed.
The injured were admitted to J J Hospital, the sources added.
