New train between Hospet, Patna

Hospet, Karnataka, Aug 13 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today announced introduction of a direct train between Hospet and Patna.

Speaking after inaugurating a new hotel here, he said ''An air conditioned 'Garib Rath' would be introduced between the two cities soon.'' Listing out the achievements of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre, Mr Prasad said the decision to go ahead with the Indo-US nuclear deal would enable the country to overcome the power shortage. ''The deal would result in India achieving enormous progress in the power sector,'' he said.

The UPA Government had also created numerous infrastructure facilities in Telecom, Railways and other key sectors, he added.
