CM flays decision on Amarnath issue
Chhindwara, Aug 13: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday, Aug 13 said the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board be immediately given the land allotted to it earlier.
''The decision to cancel the land allotment is an insult to crores of people of belonging to the majority community,'' Mr Chouhan told reporters at the airstrip here.
He said that anger of the people could be gauged from the fact that they were coming out on the streets despite enforcement of curfew.
''Jammu and Kashmir government shall not work under the pressure of separatists and anarchists,'' he said.
The chief minister said that the Assembly polls would take place at scheduled time in November. BJP would release its list of candidates after announcement of election schedule.
Mr Chouhan said that he would not announce any new schemes as there is very less time for the enforcement of election code of conduct.
