LDK Solar signs 5 yr wafer supply deal with XL Telecom

New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) LDK Solar Co Ltd today said it has signed a five-year contract to supply around 300 MW of multicrystalline solar wafers to XL Telecom &Energy Ltd.

As per the agreement, the delivery will be started in the first quarter of 2009, the company said in a statement.

Hyderabad-based XL Telecom will make a down payment representing a portion of the contract value to LDK Solar, it added.
