Karat to present award to Dr Panicker

Kottayam, Aug 13 (UNI) CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat will present the first T K Smaraka Puraskaram to Dr K N Panicker here on August 15.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh and citation.

Mr Justice K T Thomas would preside over the function. State Education Minister M A Baby, PWD Minister Mons Joseph, Mr Suresh Kurup, MP, Mr V N Vasavan MLA and other prominent persons would address the gathering.
