Jeetendra Avad becomes Thane NCP chief

Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) MLC Jeetendra Avad has been appointed the president of the Thane NCP unit.

The appointment is significant as Thane district has 21 assembly constituencies after the delimitation and has become a politically important place.

Meanwhile, Mr Sharad Pawar today asked the party workers to take a review of all the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha constituencies, particularly after the delimitation, while addressing them at the NCP office.
