Husband sets wife ablaze

Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) A woman was allegedly set ablaze by her husband as she objected to the sale of their flat at Deonar in North-east Mumbai.

Police said the deceased Vidya Nalawade and her husband Pradeep had a quarrel this morning over the sale of the flat. In a fit of rage, Pradeep allegedly poured kerosene on her and set her ablaze.

Vidya succumbed to injuries before admission to a hospital.

Police have registered a case of murder.
