Husband convicted for killing wife
Chatra, Aug 13 (UNI) A local court today sentenced for life imprisonment a person for killing his wife for dowry, about seven years ago in this district.
Additional district and sessions judge Srikant Rai convicted Ajay Kumar Mishra after the latter was found guilty in the case.
A case against the accused was lodged at Piparwar police station here on May 9, 2001 for allegedly settinghis wife Rani Mihra onfire for dowry.
Rani later succumbed to her injuries.
