HPCC forms committee to probe Naina Devi tragedy

Shimla, Aug 13 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) today constituted a three-member fact finding committee under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Congress MLA from Batyait of district Chamba to look for causes of the stampede at Naina Devi temple on August 3.

Announcing this here today, Congress spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Rathore said the other members of committee are Congress MLA from Santhokhgarh, Mukesh Aganihotri and Congress MLA from Bilaspur, Ragesh Dharmani.

The Committee, after meeting with public and officals of district adminstration, would submit its reports to the State Congress Committee, he added UNI XC PS CS BST2044
