Groundnutseed, its oil up: RBD Palmolein eases

Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil rose further today on fresh buying support by stockists, while RBD Palmolein eased on sluggish demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil (10 kgs), groundnut oil moved up by Rs 10 per ten kg on better buying support while RBD palmolein eased by Re one per 10 kg on sluggish demand from stockists.

Cottonseed refined and sunflower exp ref was also down by Rs 5 and Rs 10 per ten kg respectively, on poor offtake by bulk consumers, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed and nigerseed 4 rose by Rs 50 and Rs 75 per quintal respectively on fresh demand by stockists.

Groundnut Bolds 60/70 and javas 60/70 slipped by Rs 25 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, as traders were keen to sell their stock.

In De-oiled cakes, sunflower extr and rapeseed extr were also down by Rs 100 and Rs 200 per metric tonne amidst lower buying support, traders addded.
