Fresh directives on compassionate appointment in MP
Bhopal, Aug 13 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has approved integrated directives with regard to giving appointment on compassionate ground to the kin of government employees who die while in service.
The state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here yesterday decided to provide Rs one lakh as lump sum compassion grant to the next of kin of daily wage employees and those drawing salary from workcharged and contingency fund. This would not include the amount of gratuity, official sources said.
The compassion grant would be paid from salary head under the workcharged/ contingency head of the department concerned, the sources added.
