Free cycles to Chhattisgarh's students

Raipur, Aug 13 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh government has decided to give free bicycles to tribal backward classes' students, official sources said here today.

The process of purchasing cycles has begun and tenders have been invited from manufacturing companies.

Tribal girls are already receiving such cycles under an existing scheme whose objective is to encourage them to take up high school education.
