D-Link launches indigenous videophone
Bangalore, Aug 13 (UNI) D-Link India today announced the launch of IP Videophone GVC-3000, a feature-rich videophone with a built-in LCD screen.
Speaking to newsmen, D-Link Executive Chairman K R Naik said it was a proud moment for Indian hardware industry.
Started three years ago, the company had been able to develop new generation products.
''Our videophone, priced competitively, incorporates cutting-edge technology and I'm sure it will be well accepted both in India as well as in global markets,'' he said.
As a stand-alone device, GVC-3000 does not require a computer, television or high bandwidth. It uses advanced video compression technology and maximises the image and audio quality within the available bandwidth. It is ideally suited for business due to features such as conferencing and integration, he said.
D-Link simultaneously launched a Mid-Range IP Phone - GLV-540.
