CII inks MoU with Aussie Varsity
Chennai, Aug 13 (UNI) Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today signed a MoU with Carnegie Mellon Heinz School, South Australia, to bring strong educational links between Carnegie Mellon and India and promote cooperation and mutual benefit in the field of education.
The MoU was signed here by Mr T T Ashok, Chairman, International Business Promotion and Networking Task Force, CII, Southern Region in the presence of Mr Wayne Parham, Director, Trade, Department of Trade and Economic Department, South Australia and Mr A K Tareen, Senior Trade Commissioner- India, Government of South Australia.
''The main objective of the MOU is to establish a long term, cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship between the Confederation of Indian industry (Southern Region) and Carnegie Mellon University (South Australia) and to strengthen the standing impact of CII,'' a release said.
Carnegie Mellon would provide funding support of 50 per cent of tuition fee for CII Members who wish to pursue higher studies at Carnegie Mellon University, the release said.
