BJP Mahila Morcha head in MP

Bhopal, Aug 13 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha Vice-President Bhavnaben Dave today praised the Karwan Programme of the Morcha's Madhya Pradesh unit by saying that it would enable BJP communication upto village level.

''On the lines of Gujarat, this state's women are reaching town and village bodies and contributing to solving people's problems.

The BJP does not consider only elections as its target but also has development as its goal. It is the sole Indian party to give 33 per cent reservation to women in the organisation and 50 per cent in local bodies,'' she told reporters here. Ms Dave earlier reviewed the state unit's work.

She expressed optimism that more women candidates would be given tickets in this year's Madhya Pradesh polls as compared to 2003.
