Biofertiliser launched in K'taka
Bangalore, Aug 13 (UNI) Multiplex Bio-tech, an organic farming company, has introduced its own bio-fertiliser--Annapurna-- which has picked up export demand from several countries.
Company Chairman G P Shetty told reporters here today Annapurna was a certified product from IMO Switzerland and could be used for both conventional and organic farming.
''Our main focus has been on improving the soil health and for this purpose, we have introduced Annapurna which is acting like a base for all organic farming,'' he said.
''We have developed a model farm for organic agriculture and grow crops like banana, papaya, vegetables and other crops which require normally a high dose of nutrients. The frequency of pesticides attack is also more,'' he said.
