Amtek forms JV with FormTech for forgings unit
New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) Auto components maker Amtek Auto Ltd today said it has signed a joint venture agreement with Michigan's FormTech Industries LLC to set up an automotive forgings manufacturing unit.
Amtek will take 51 per cent in the venture, which will serve India and Europe, a company statement said.
The new facility is expected to be operational in about 12-18 months, it added.
