Woman's body recovered from trunk
Kohima, Aug 12 (UNI) The Kohima police recovered the body of a woman, mother of two children, from her residence at the Naga Hospital Colony here and detained her husband and a minor helping girl of the family.
Official sources said here today that the victim's husband made a hullabaloo that his wife was killed by someone and kept her body in a trunk.
On receiving information, police sent the body for post-mortem yesterday.
The sources said that there was no external injury on the victim's body and the cause of death will be known only after receiving the post-mortem report.
The husband and wife were the employees of Naga Hospital here and they have two children.
Police suspected some foul play and detained the husband and their maidservant, a six-year-old girl, for interrogation and awaiting the post-mortem report for further investigation, the sources said.
