New Delhi tries dialogue route to end land row issue

New Delhi, August 12, 2008 : An all-party delegation led by Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will again meet in New Delhi today to end the Amarnath land transfer row. The members also met yesterday but failed to reach any consensus.

After the meeting, Shivraj Patil said he would apprise Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on the deliberations. Vishwa Hindu Parishad vowed to begin a countrywide blockade if the issue was not resolved in favour of the Hindus.
