Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.40 per US Dollar
Mumbai, Aug 12 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 42.40 per unit, up by 40 paise, against yesterday's rate of Rs 42.00 per dollar.
The reference rate for Euro was rose by 14 paise at Rs 62.96 per unit, against yesterday's rate of Rs 62.82.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted up at Rs 80.5494 (80.4720) per Pound and Rs 38.49 (38.15) per 100 units respectively, data received from RBI said.
