Minnie driver intends to be a 'single mom'

London, Aug 12 : Hollywood actress Minnie Driver has revealed her intentions of raising her unborn child on her own, for she does not feel the need of a man to be involved in child rearing.

Although Driver has not yet revealed the father's identity, it has been reported that father of Driver's child is musician Craig Zolezzi.

Driver, who is pretty nervous about the birth of her child, insists that she all set to be an independent single mother.

"I'm not married and I don't know if I'll stay with the guy, it's great to be an independent creature, today you don't need a man any more," The Sun quoted Driver, as saying. "In the old days, a baby without marriage and people would put you out, I'm very into feeling this female thing," she added.

The 'Goodwill Hunting' actress, who revealed her family and friends would accompany her for her delivery, hinted the father of the child would not be there.
