Mettur water level at 59.550 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Aug 12 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 59.550 feet this morning as against its full capacity of 120 feet.

The inflow into the reservoir was 6,250 cusecs and the discharge maintained at 12,998 cusecs.

From the Grand Anaicut, authorities released 102 cusecs of water through River Cauvery, 7,528 cusecs through Vennar and 1,804 cusecs through the Grand Anaicut Canal and 907 cusecs through Coleroon for delta irrigation.
