Less than half newspapers published in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 12 (UNI) Curfew restrictions and a shortage of news print due to blockade in Jammu has hit newspaper industry in the valley.
Only less than a dozen newspapers were today published due to curfew restrictions and a shortage of news print. The newspapers which were published, printed limited copies as distribution would have been a problem because of curfew.
Even leading newspapers, including Greater Kashmir and its sister publication Daily Uzma have reduced their pages as the trucks carrying news print have not reached here.
Another leading newspaper Kashmir Monitor failed to hit the stand because of the same reason.
