Lashkar militant surrenders in Doda
Jammu, Aug 12 (UNI) A militant of Lashkar-e-toiba (LeT) outfit surrendered before security forces in teshil Bhaderwah of Doda district, official sources said here today.
''A grade commander of LeT identified as Abdul Rashid code Abu Abdullah, resident of village Tanta Bhallessa surrendered before the troops of 26 RR and STF in Sartingal area of Bhaderwah last night,'' official sources told UNI.
The surrendered militant was active in the area for the last eight years and was operating in the upper belts of Bhallessa, Bhaderwah, Kithar and other adjoining areas of Kishtwar and Doda districts, they said.
