HPU announces SCA election
Shmla, Aug 12 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) today announced that the Student Central Association (SCA) Election would be held on August 21 in all degree colleges, HPU Campus Shimla and Post Graduate Center, Dharamshala.
Filing of nomination would start on August 18 while withdrawal of nomination will be on August 19.
The voting would take place from 0930 hrs to 1400 hrs.
The counting of votes would begin soon after and results would be declared the same day after 1530 hrs.
The HPU Vice Chancellor Sunil Kumar Gupta said that election would be held as per Lingdoh Committee guidlines.
He requested student unions to maitain the peace during election.
