Cases against McDonald's, Pizza Hut, ITC
Indore, Aug 12 (UNI) The Chief Judicial Magistrate's courts here and at the nearby Military Headquarters Of War (MHOW) registered cases today more than 20 officials including those of Pizza Hut, McDonald's and ITC.
Food and Drug Department sources said that samples -- collected on November 18, 2006 from Pizza Hut and McDonald's outlets here -- were found adulterated.
A case was registered against McDonald's franchisees Ankush K Shambhu, Saurabh Nakda, Pizza Hut's Nivaidas, a Dewas-based company's Bhushan Prasad, a Kerala-based company's officials and others.
Samples of Sunfeast biscuits and Chaupal oil taken from a MHOW-based ITC outlet were also found adulterated and a case registered against Anand Tripathy.
