Builder arrested for abduction

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Aug 11 (UNI) One person was abducted over money borrowing issue from Chakarbhata area in this district of Chhattisgarh but was later rescued by police from the office of a land mafia, police said today.

Kusharam Kaivrat (50) was taken away forcibly by builder Ajay Shukla from his home yesterday morning. Family members complained to police, which cordoned off the office of the builder and freed Kusharam.

Kusharam had borrowed Rs one lakh from the builder two years back. He was abducted and forced to sign on a document for having borrowed credit of Rs three lakh. Police have arrested the builder.
